I studied at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. All my life till then, I simply wanted to get to Art College, no matter what. However, I was grossly disappointed with the experience. I turned away from the art world and studied and took up, what I believed to be, a more vocational and fruitful career in Product Design.
I had my own business for 15 years and won several design awards. I still design today, using 3D cad mainly.
Living in Pittenweem gave me a unique opportunity to get involved with their annual Arts Festival. I was a director on the board for two years. I decided to go back to painting, and in particular portraits. I exhibited there since 2008. I have subsequently exhibited at the Pittenweem Arts Festival over the past few years.
